The interview isn't there to trip you up — it's there to confirm that you're genuine, that you speak the language, and that you know why you want this programme.
«Why did you choose our programme?» — name a specific subject, project or professor.
«What are your strengths and weaknesses?» — the weakness should be honest but not fatal («I find public speaking difficult, so I signed up for a public speaking course»).
«Where do you see yourself in 5 years?» — tie it to your studies: «I want to work for an international company after my Master's in finance».
Memorised, formulaic answers
Aggression or panic
«I haven't decided yet, maybe I'll transfer»
A tip from Edunation: we run practice interviews with recordings and a review of your mistakes. You'll be ready for any question.
