Most universities ask for an IELTS (6.0–7.5) or TOEFL certificate. Allow 3–6 months to prepare, plus time for a retake if you need one.
You'll usually need a school certificate or diploma with a translation, a personal statement, references from teachers or lecturers, and a CV (for a Master's). Some countries also ask for a portfolio or entrance exams.
Apply to 3–5 institutions at once, and be ready for an online interview in English. Rehearse your answers beforehand.
Once you're admitted, confirm your place, pay the fees and prepare your visa documents: proof of finances, the purpose of your trip and your return tickets.
